Will buy this because the rock is not in it. This is perhaps the best book-to-movie adaption ever produced; making the end-result one of the best pieces of cinematography ever. For readers of the book, you'll find that the best character adaptions were Aragorn and Gandalf. After you see this movie, you will definately agree when I predict a shue-in nod for Ian McKellen as Best Supporting Actor!

In addition to the great book adaption, I also have to make note of the high quality CG used in this film. George Lucas and his "Industrial Light And Magic" have a lot of creative and technical catching up to do. The lord of the rings: the fellowship of the ring 2001 full movie.
